Her father was a successful businessman with 37 stores and Michelle was heavily involved in the marketing, hiring and coaching of employees. She wrote all the advertising for his stores and would do all the in-store promotions. This wealth of practical knowledge supports her in the real estate marketing, sales, training and coaching she does today.
Michelle Shelton has extensive business experience and grew up in a family business. A family business takes everyone working together and doing whatever it takes. She was a marketer for Awareness Corporation and also has been involved in marketing for various private companies throughout her career. Prior to her career in real estate she had her own newspaper column and wrote for various trade magazines and the Arizona Republic.

Michelle Shelton has always thrived in sales and marketing. As a licensed Cosmetologist in her youth she was awarded to the Century Club for annual retail sales production. She founded Our Daily Bread, a bakery equipment business and she taught adult education classes through Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska. She provided marketing and Public Relation services for various companies including, Weather Wise Roofing, and Getko Group, a division of Cendant. She also was an in-store promotions Manager for 14 Arizona Sears stores and was in charge of hiring, sales training and coaching in-store promotion reps. She has been a top producer in Arizona real estate from her very first month in the business. She sold over 3 Million dollars in real estate her first four months after getting her Arizona real estate license.
