Community Equine Property
There are a few communities that are zoned for horses in a common area or shared pasture. My favorite is Granite Mountain Ranch in Scottsdale. Granite Mountain Ranch is a gated equine community. It sports beautiful, luxury homes on large lots. An owner can have horses on their property and there is a shared arena and Round Pen for homeowner to use with their horses during the day.
Will Rogers Equestrian is a subdivision in Queen Creek, Arizona that has a three acre shared horse facility, barn, riding arena, round pen and tack storage. They also have access to riding trails and riding in the San Tan Mountains south of Queen Creek, Arizona. In Arizona Horse Property areas are zoned for horses. Many of them are what is called a County Island. Many of the farms and horse properties are older neighborhoods and the city has grown around them creating these county islands.
