For those of you who have worked with me in the past, you know how much fun we have in real estate! The process does not have to be stressful. It is only stressful when you are not educated and guided properly. A high level of communication is important for sure. Buying a home is not for the faint of heart, however, if you can trust your guide enough to get on the plane, you will see we really are amazing pilots of the real estate plane.
This does not mean there is not turbulence from time to time. There are outside forces we have little or no control over such as lenders, title companies, appraisers and appraisals and of course banks and investors who must grant us third party approval. When you get on the plane do they not warn you there could be turbulence? Do they tell you there could be wind and things outside the plane they cannot control? Of course they do! They also tell you it will be fine. Sit back. Relax and they will get you safely to the ground. They even educate you on what to do should something go sideways…..that's right, put your seat belt on and relax. If the oxygen mask falls put it on and take some deep breaths.
Real estate in Arizona is the same way. We are highly skilled in many areas and we can and will get you safely to the destination…your new home. I can be fun or stressful. When clients allow us to do our job and educate them on the process the anxiety level goes way down.
What is the first step?
Agency Relationship and Employment Agreement or Buyer Broker. By law, we can't work for you until you employ us. Once you decide to work with us, it is very much like getting your passport in travel. You have picked a destination and now you need a passport. Once both of us decide the partnership is a good one and can work, we present you with the broker paperwork and then you get your buyer passport. You will LOVE your passport.
What is the Buyer Passport?
The Arizona Real Estate Buyer Passport opens doors for you. Your passport has all the important information you will need as a buyer. No matter if you are experienced or a first time homebuyer, you will enjoy the education of the Buyer Passport as well as the convenience of being able to track properties you have viewed and property on the Internet. If you are out on a Sunday afternoon and you see an open house, with the Buyer Passport you don't have to call your agent to go with you, you can pull out your passport and show it to the agent in the Open House and gain full access without aggressive agents bugging you to work with them.
